FAQ

FAQ

What is a bidirectional DC power supply?

It both sources and sinks current from one instrument — charging and discharging a DUT with seamless dual-quadrant crossover — and regenerates absorbed energy to the grid.

How is a regenerative load different from an electronic load?

A conventional load burns absorbed power as heat; a regenerative load returns it to the grid (up to 93% here), cutting energy and cooling costs.

Do you publish prices?

Systems are configured per application, so we quote rather than list-price. Send your specs for a fast, configured quote.

Can it simulate batteries and solar arrays?

Yes — NS81000 battery simulation (7 libraries + custom curves) and NS91000 PV I-V/P-V simulation with EN50530 and Sandia profiles.

How high can it scale?

From 14 kW single units to megawatt systems via master/master paralleling.
